Chlorpyrifos is a broad-spectrum organophosphorus pesticide with relatively low toxicity. It can protect natural enemies and prevent and control underground pests. It lasts for more than 30 days. So how much do you know about the targets and dosage of chlorpyrifos? Let’s take a look below. Find out.
Chlorpyrifos control targets and dosage.
1. To control rice leaf rollers, rice thrips, rice gall midges, rice planthoppers and rice leafhoppers, spray 60-120 ml of 40.7% EC with water per acre.
2. Wheat pests: To control wheat leafflies, use pesticides in the early stages of disease; to control aphids, use pesticides before or after flowering; to control armyworms, spray pesticides when they are young larvae. Generally, 60-80ml of 40% EC is mixed with 30-45kg of water per acre; to control armyworms and aphids, 50-75ml of 40.7% EC is used per acre and 40-50kg of water is sprayed.
3. Corn borer: During the corn trumpet stage, use 80-100g of 15% granules to spread on the heart leaves.
4. Cotton pests: When controlling cotton aphids, lygus bugs, thrips, weevils, and bridge-building insects, spray pesticides when the number of pests increases rapidly; when controlling cotton bollworms and pink bollworms, spray pesticides during the peak hatching period of eggs to the larvae Spray before drilling the buds. Generally, spray 100-150ml of 40% emulsifiable concentrate and 45-60kg of water per acre.
5. Root maggots of leeks and garlic: In the early stages of root maggot occurrence, 400-500ml of 40% EC per acre should be irrigated with irrigation water.
6. To control cotton pests, use 50 ml of 40.7% chlorpyrifos EC per acre and 40 kg of water spray. For cotton spider mites, use 70-100 ml of 40.7% Lesbourne EC per acre and spray with 40 kg of water. Search the Vegetable Farming Circle on WeChat to pay attention. For cotton bollworm and pink bollworm, use 100--169 ml per acre and spray with water.
7. For underground pests: such as cutworms, grubs, wireworms, etc., irrigate the base of the plants with 800-1000 times of 40% EC per acre.
8. To control fruit tree pests, citrus leafminers and spider mites should be sprayed with 1000-2000 times of 40.7% EC. Use 400-500 times liquid spray to treat peach heartworms. This dosage can also be used to control hawthorn spider mites and apple spider mites.
9. Vegetable pests: such as cabbage caterpillars, diamondback moths, aphids, thrips, whiteflies, etc. can be sprayed with 100-150ml of 40% EC mixed with 30-60kg of water.
10. To control sugarcane pests, spray 20 ml of 40.7% EC with water per acre to control sugarcane woolly aphids.
11. To control vegetable pests, use 100-150 ml of 40.7% chlorpyrifos EC per acre sprayed with water.
12. To control soybean pests, spray 40.7% EC 75--100 ml with water per acre.
13. To control hygienic pests, use 100-200 mg/kg spray for adult mosquitoes. The dosage for larval medication is 15-20 mg/kg in water. For cockroaches, use 200 mg/kg. For fleas, use 400 mg/kg. Use 100--400 mg/kg to smear or wash microscopic cattle ticks and fleas on the surface of livestock.
14. To control tea tree pests, use liquid spray with an effective concentration of 300-400 times for tea geometrids, tea fine moths, tea caterpillars, green thorn moths, tea gall mites, tea orange gall mites, and tea short-bearded mites.
There are three main ways to control pests with chlorpyrifos:
1. Spray. Dilute 48% chlorpyrifos EC with water and spray.
1. Use 800-1000 times of liquid to control larvae of American spotted leafminer, tomato spotted flyminer, pea leafminer, cabbage leafminer and other larvae.
2. Use 1000 times liquid to control cabbage caterpillar, Spodoptera litura larvae, lamp moth larvae, melon borer and other larvae and aquatic vegetable borers.
3. Use 1500 times the solution to prevent and control the pupating larvae of the green leaf miner and the larvae of the yellow spot borer.
2. Root irrigation: Dilute 48% chlorpyrifos EC with water and then irrigate the roots.
1. During the initial spawning period of leek maggots, use 2000 times liquid light to control leek maggots, and use 500 liters of liquid medicine per acre.
2. When irrigating the garlic with the first or second water, use 250-375 ml of EC per acre and apply the pesticide with the water to prevent root maggots.
