Mode of Action
Thiocyclam enters the insect body and is metabolized into silkworm venom to exert its toxicity. It interrupts the impulse transmission of insect nerves and blocks acetylcholine receptors to poison the insects. This mode of action is different from the mechanisms of commonly used organophosphorus, organochlorine and amino acid vinegar, so it is especially suitable for pests that have developed resistance to the above-mentioned commonly used pesticides. After receiving the drug, the insects become severely paralyzed and knocked down, stop eating and then die. Although the actual time of death is later, they are unable to eat after being poisoned and no longer harm crops. If the degree of poisoning is mild, you may recover within a day.
Apply
Thiocyclam is suitable for controlling a variety of Lepidopteran, Coleopteran, and Homoptera pests on crops such as rice, corn, sugar beets, vegetables, and fruit trees. However, some varieties of cotton, apples, and beans are sensitive to insecticidal rings and should not be used. . The insecticidal ring has excellent insecticidal effect on thrips, whitefly nymphs and adults, but poor egg-killing effect, good quick effect, and short duration of effect; it is effective against rice borer, rice borer, giant borer and leaf roller. etc. are highly toxic, but less toxic to rice leafhoppers, rice planthoppers, etc. In addition, it can also control parasitic nematodes, such as rice white tip nematode.
Using Method
1. Use 50 grams of Thiocyclam 50% SP, add about 1.5 kg of water, mix with 10-15 kg of wheat bran (preferably fried), and then sprinkle it on the roots of crops to achieve better trapping and killing effects on crickets and snails.
2. Use Thiocyclam 50% SP 50~100g mixed with water and pour or spray coarse mist per acre. To control rice borer, rice borer, rice leaf roller, first-generation rice borer and rice borer, pesticides should be applied 7 days after the eggs hatch.
4. Use Thiocyclam 50% SP1500~2000 times solution to spray the whole plant during the heart and leaf stage of corn to control corn borers and corn aphids.
5. Use Thiocyclam 50% SP 750~1000 times liquid for spray control to control lepidopteran and coleopteran pests on vegetables, such as cabbage cabbage moth, cabbage white butterfly, white butterfly, etc. The larvae can last for 7 to 14 days. .
6. Dilute Thiocyclam 50% SP to 750 times for leaf spraying, which has a good control effect on snails in open vegetable fields.
